Esthetics is all about knowing what to do and how to do it, and how to make clients feel cared for while in your chair. At Alva Beauty Collective, you can build those skills through our technique-first hybrid training. Our program focuses on real services and real practice so that you can see improvement in your techniques over time. This isn’t just watching from the sidelines. Our students learn by doing, with instructor guidance that helps refine their skills and timing as they build their confidence.
Our hybrid education keeps theory hours online, so you can study at home and review material on your own schedule. Then you can come to campus, where class time is dedicated to practical demonstrations and guided training. Our small class sizes are taught in both English and Spanish, so you can ask questions and get feedback in the language that works best for you.

The theory portion of your required training hours is completed online in the comfort of your own home (or wherever you want to study!). This gives you flexibility, so you can learn when and where it’s best for you. Your in-class hours are focused on hands-on training, with live demonstrations and guided practice built into each session. Eventually, you can start providing esthetics services to real clients in our student salon and build your confidence and professional skills. All services are provided by students under the supervision of licensed professionals.
Our hands-on training sessions are part-time, with morning and evening sessions available. We also offer both English and Spanish classes at our Lemon Grove campus.
